Dynaspede offers a unique range of Electronic Controllers for brakes and clutches, from simple torque controls to more elegant forms of digital tension controls.

MT Series of Torque RegulatorsDynaspede MT series of Torque Regulators: These are essentially constant-current regulators for open-loop torque setting on particle clutches and brakes, providing a simple and cost-effective means of tension control in less demanding applications. Input 240V ac 50 Hz; Output 0-5A. DC (25 Volts max.)

Auto Tension ControllersAuto Tension Controllers: Dynaspede offers AT series of auto-tension controllers for applications demanding dead-on tension control in unwinds and rewinds. Dynaspede load cells, mounted on tension sensing idlers, constantly track and provide accurate information of actual web tension to the controller, which in turn corrects any deviations from preset values of tension. IT Series ControllersAT series of analogue controllers come with attractive features such as taper tension settings, GD^2 compensation and more

IT series controllers are advanced DSP based digital controls with features similar to AT- series of controllers. Both controllers can be configured to mate with pneumatic or magnetic particle devices and to accept load cell.

IT 21 Series

MT Series of Torque RegulatorsCentre-wind Tension controls: Dynaspede CTC series of controllers offer a simple, cost-effective solution, adequate for less stringent tension control applications. This indirect form of tension control relies on an electronic computation of instantaneous roll diameter to regulate the torque constantly against varying diameters during turndown or build-up of the rolls. Standard features include zero-speed sensing, taper setting, inertia compensation and more. Adaptable for use with different forms of brakes/ clutches.
